TTT: Ten Books You’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed You A Fully Loaded Gift Card.

The title is pretty self-explanatory.

1    Black Panther (2016)

The only current Marvel comic I want to get into right now is Black Panther (written by Ta-Nehisi Coates). I just keep hearing how awesome the new series is, and I love the character. Since there is only four comics currently out, I’m going to have to wait a while for the volume.

A full-loaded gift card would probably tempt me to end my wait and just buy the comics separately.

2    A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

I was already interested in the book and then I saw the movie trailer. I’m definitely going to read the book before the movie comes out, but I would buy it right now if I could.

3    Some Kind of Happiness by Claire Legrand

It’s been years since I’ve read middle-grade books. I didn’t have any interest, until one of the booktubers I watch went on a middle-grade binge. I’ve been mildly interested in some of the books he talked about, but this one really caught my attention, and not only because it has a beautiful cover.

The novel is about a girl dealing with depression as her parents ship her over to her grandparents. I feel the tears coming.

4    A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

A Darker Shade final for Irene

The cover and the synopsis got to me. The question is ‘why isn’t this already on my bookshelf’? (Also interested in This Savage Song by the same author, but wanted to read this book first).

5    Get Volumes 3-6 of Saga

Volumes 1&2 were dope and I need the rest in my life. If you don’t believe me, check out my review here.

6    Annotated Northanger Abbey

I’m a super nerd that already owns the other four annotated Jane Austen books (Mansfield Park doesn’t come out till next year… wait, is time-travel a part of this deal?).

7    Harry Potter Collections

So I’m pretty sure I can’t get this exclusive collection via gift card:

So this one will work for me:

8    More Penguin Classics

9    Thread Embroidery Books

I try not to get duplicates of books, but if I had a free gift card I would get this collection:

Enough said.

Alright, the last four were probably stretching the prompt abit, but damn it, I don’t care! It’s my current fantasy TBR wish list. 🙂
