I’m going to wait til the New Year to start Quick Lit posts again, so I think a Book Tag is in need to fill in the gap. Yesterday I saw this TBR Tag that FictionFan’s Book Reviews did and I think it’s time to talk about some books on my TBR
1 How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Both Goodreads and Google Docs helps me keep track of TBR, what to read next, goals, and what I have on my bookshelf.
2 Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
Mostly print, the only e-books I have are for ARCs. I had a Nook back in the day but I just didn’t like it.
3 A book that’s been on your TBR the longest?
I have a handful of books that I added my first day of Goodreads, but I know for a fact that I’ve had this one a while now.
A Passage to India – E. M. Forster
4 A book you recently added to your TBR?
I like Ghost stories and this one looked interesting.
Paper Tigers – Damien Angelica Walters
5 A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
I love cool colors and this cover is a dream. I know I’ll read it one day, but for now it was just look beautiful on my cyber shelf.
Faithful – Alice Hoffman
6 A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?
If a book is on my TBR then I plan on reading it at some point, buuuut these are two that I’m having a hard time starting. Eventually I will… just might be a few more years.
American Psycho – Bret Easton Ellis
Lolita – Vladimir Nabokov
7 An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?
I really loved The Bear and the Nightingale, and since I finished it a couple months ago I’ve been jonesin’ for the second book. I plan on reading it later this month and really excited.
The Girl in the Tower – Katherine Arden
8 A book on your TBR that everyone has read but you?
I feel like people have talked about this book since I was in high school (*coughcough15yearsagocoughcough*). I have no idea why I haven’t read it yet, but it’s on my list for 2018.
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams
9 A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?
I heard plenty of recommendations, but I feel like Rebecca is one I get, especially when people get wind that I haven’t read it yet.
Rebecca – Daphne Du Maurier
10 A book on your TBR that you’re dying to read?
Yaaaaaas. I’m just waiting for the funds (I want the UK cover), and then this sci-fi classic will be in my hands. High on my 2018 to read list.
Kindred – Octavia E. Butler
11 How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
I did a deep purge earlier this year, so at this moment I’m at 214 on my ‘to-read’ list.
I tag …
…. and whoever wants to join in on the fun!
