Good Morning, and to those who celebrate Christmas, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday.
It’s that time of year again when I go ‘didn’t we just complete a Bout of Books?!’, but I’m excited all the same.
If you happen to be a newbie to this readathon, here is a quick rundown from the host site:
“The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 8th and runs through Sunday, January 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 21 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team”
On my website, January is going to be Historical Fiction month, so my TBR is themed this time around. Also I’m just sticking with three books. If I happen to finish with some time leftover then I’ll just start The Poisonwood Bible. Its over 500 pgs, so I could use the jump start.
BOB 21 TBR:
- City of Thieves – David Benioff PGS: 258
- Dreamland Burning – Jennifer Lantham PGS: 365
- To the Bright Edge of the World – Eowyn Ivey PGS: 413
Total PGS: 1036
I think this will be a great start to the new year. Good luck to everyone who wants to join in on the fun!
